MRC Smart Technologies, a subsidiary of Xerox, is looking for an Energetic, Self-Motivated and Experienced IT Managed Service Sales & Account Manager.  This is a hybrid role in the fact that there are some named accounts that will need tending, but we are Not looking for a farmer. This is a pure hunting sales role and account focus should be on Major accounts throughout your assigned geographic territory.  Ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and assume accountability for their success. The successful candidate would be responsible for identifying and establishing contact with potential customers, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, while delivering exceptional customer service. Successful Sales Professionals should have an outgoing personality, can counter objections, and are not afraid to cold call and close the business. Responsibilities:

  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
  • Create sales presentations to introduce Xerox products to prospective clients
  • Negotiate agreements, create proposals and keep records of sales and data
  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business; This may include cold calls, presentations/proposals, in-office demonstrations and follow-up activity
  • Responsible for coordinating the approach and communication strategy of new and existing accounts
  • Analyze prospective client requirements and needs to understand how MRCs products and services can be applied to meet these needs
  • Respond quickly and with urgency to all customer and prospect inquiries
  • Maintain flexibility to accept new responsibilities and challenges in order to ensure both successes both personally and for the company

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, willing to take risks
  • Outgoing disposition with internal motivation to push boundaries and succeed
  • Must have valid driver's license with the minimum level of auto insurance
  • 3+ years B2B Sales/Business Development experience meeting/exceeding quota
  • Information technology or related IT/Phone Systems Sales experience helpful
  • Experience calling SMB owners & executive level decision makers
  • Expertise in diverse and emerging technology
  • Persuasive in selling against the status quo
  • Strong understanding of business processes, and problem-solving skills
  • Fundamental understanding of consultative, solutions sales process for information technologies and networking concepts with the ability to develop a conversational aptitude around general network technology.
