We are MRC Smart Technology Solutions and we are a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation and one of California's largest technology and services consulting firms!  We currently have an opening on our Sales Support team as a Billings Operations Specialist.  This a great role for someone looking to start a career with a well-established company here in San Diego while having an opportunity to interact with multiple departments.

The Billings Operations Specialist will be responsible for the accurate timing, and setup of all equipment, software, and services contracts.  You will be working directly with our Sales, Service, and Logistics departments and you will get a lot of exposure into different areas of the company.  You will be a key contributor in facilitating customer and branch relations. 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact and respond to internal customer's inquiries via phone and email regarding quotations, terms, deliveries, product details and availability of their Orders and Billing cycle.
  • Collaborate with and gather information from other departments including sales, finance, and logistics to obtain accurate information regarding product availability, open order status, freight pricing, shipment dates and expected date of delivery.
  • Accurately and completely process orders from customers, sales representatives or dealers for both finished goods and parts
  • Enter Orders / Invoice with GL accuracy, Inventory accuracy, and commission accuracy
  • Ensure all Dealer Orders comply with MRC policies
  • Prepares and prints invoices, Processes and ensure proper billing of contracts and Credit Invoices as necessary.
  • Processes lease terminations.
  • Input Credit Applications for specialized large client accounts
  • Conducts audit and review of all paperwork included in a sale.
  • Responds to customer phone calls and emails questioning contract or invoices (internal and external customers).
  • Reviews all contract information, Ensure Lease Returns are completed.
  • Problem solving at all levels in regards to orders, leasing, accounting, delivery, etc.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent keyboard skills are required
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PDF & Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be able to sit up to 8 hours per day with breaks and use keyboard and 10 key a large portion of the day.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with our sister companies throughout the U.S.
  • Must be a quick learner and be able to work independently
  • Detail oriented and organized for the handling of large detailed orders
  • Strong math skills
  • Experience with customer issued purchase orders
  • Exceptional customer service
