We are MRC Smart Technology Solutions, a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation, and one of California's largest technology and services consulting firms!  We currently have an opening on our Customre Care team as a Call Center Support Specialists.  This a great role for someone looking to start a career with a well-established company here in San Diego while having an opportunity to interact with multiple departments and grow as a professional.    

This opportunity is a full-time Technical Call Center Support Specialists and you will be responsible for providing immediate support and service via phone to customers experiencing equipment issues or having network questions related to MRC office technology equipment.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level contact and live problem resolution for customers with hardware, software and applications problems. 
  • Resolve user-reported problems using available tools, following policies and procedures for handling technical support. 
  • Perform to the level of all expected benchmarks (Inbound calls, remote solves, response times, issue resolutions, etc.) 
  • Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and resolution for problems in the database. 
  • Act as a liaison between customers and external support staff to assure accurate problem interpretation. 
  • Maintain communications with customers during the problem resolution process. 


Basic Requirements: 

  • Industry experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to identify, escalate and resolve technically oriented problems.
  • Experience with Windows Based OS's and MAC's, LINUX is a plus
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office. (Excel, Word, Access, etc...)
  • Knowledge of Windows File Sharing and LAN/WAN connectivity
  • Strong communication skills, including listening and questioning. 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 


Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Certificate from a Technical institute
  • Experience in a Help Desk/Call Center or Technician role
  • Experience with Xerox Multi-Function Printers a plus
  • Previous break-fix, IT or network experience
