The primary focus of the IT/Helpdesk Technician is to field end user IT trouble tickets, involving multiple software and hardware issues.  This person will be responsible for ensuring the health of our client's end users IT assets and their consistent availability and uptime.  This is a strong customer service/technical position that requires an individual with patience yet a steadfast approach to solving problems.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Fielding/closing internal IT Help Desk tickets
  • Software troubleshooting and configuration
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Network printer installation
  • Various other IT-specific tasks
  • Some domestic travel required

Basic Requirements:

  • Strong Network and PC/Mac knowledge
  • Software applications support
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening and questioning
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills to assist in problem solving
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently as well as to meet deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.), Adobe applications, Windows 7/10

 Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA/AA degree in Information Systems or other related field
  • Experience in technical support
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ are a plus but not required
  • Basic iPhone troubleshooting experience
