We currently have a Recruiting Coordinator opening that will be responsible for providing administrative, recruitment and HR generalist support to the Human Resources department and to the local Management in the Bay Area.  This role will be based out of our Pleasanton office.  It is important that you thrive in a fast paced environment, and have excellent communication and listening skills to be persuasive and high energy as you will manage multiple priorities on behalf of your internal clients.  This role will be responsible for sourcing, prescreening and scheduling interviews for assigned REQs while still performing HR generalist duties.  If you have had an interest in recruiting, but would like to expand to additional HR resposnibilities and you are not afraid of the phone then this is the role for you! 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruiting efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel by proactively sourcing and prescreening candidates for assigned REQs.
  • Work with the Corporate Recruiter to help facilitate an excellent candidate experience.
  • Achieved assigned activitey metrics
  • Interface and strengthen relationships with hiring managers to ensure employment needs are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
  • Works strategically with the Director of HR and the Senior Leadership team on special projects each year including performance management, development, and communication to our employees.
  • Maintains the security of systems, keeping data safe, organized and properly stored.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


  • Must have valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage in order to occassionally drive vehicle to travel between our offices (Santa Clara, Pleasanton, Hayward and San Francisco) in the Bay Area as needed.
  • BS/BA/AA degree in business or other related field.
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Excellent communication (oral, written and presentation skills).
  • Critical Thinking must look at numbers, trends, & data and come to new conclusions based on findings
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independent goals and tasks
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  • 1+ years experience in Recruiting and/or HR
  • Staffing Agency experience a plus
