We're MRC Smart Technology, A Xerox Company.  We help companies save money and time by improving how they print, scan, and manage files.  Companies need help using our products and services to manage these costs, and as an Account Manager, you're the hero that will ensure it happen at the client site. 

Position Overview: The Account Manager expands and retains customer base through account visits, competitive system identificationand equipment demonstrations and training, while assisting the sales force to help maximize productivity.  

Major Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for service and billing escalations, customer liaison.
  • Build and maintain a working relationship with heads of departments.
  • Act as a technology consultant, assess department's needs and environment, and make device recommendations.
  • Oversee delivery, installation, and training end users on all new equipment.
  • Demonstrates empathy and understanding of customer concerns.
  • Strategizes with sales and service on account situation and action plan; Generates sales leads
  • Serves a liaison between customer, sales and service.
  • Occasional Travel

Basic Requirements: 

  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Excellent communication (oral, written and presentation skills)
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and gain commitment at all organizational levels
  • BS/BA/AA degree in business or other related field preferred

 Skills Required:

  • Collaborate with development, marketing, support, community management and QA (To ensure the successful launch and acceptable performance of solutions).
  • Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts. Manage ongoing conference calls and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts. Provide regular status reports and manage task lists on assigned accounts progress for all project areas.
  • Facilitate enhancements to communications, tools, capabilities and product lines.
